We are looking to recruit an Apprentice Hire Controller to work to work within our Ossett Powered Access depot.
A Hire Controller is an important part of any depot and you will be on the frontline of operations and customer service. Building relationships is really important as a Hire Controller coordinates the entire hire process from taking the initial order from a customer, talking to your colleagues in the depot to organise the order, right through to arranging delivery and collection of the equipment for the customer.
As an Apprentice Hire Controller you will study the Level 2 Hire Controller apprenticeship standard and take the end point assessment (EPA). This takes around 15 months and you will be trained and mentored by our experienced colleagues and our specialist apprenticeship provider.

What are we looking for?
We are looking for Apprentices who:
- Are willing to develop and be customer focused
- Have digital and IT skills
- Can multi-task
- Have good organisational skills
- Want to work as part of a team
- Show good communication skills - both written and verbal
- Have an interest in engineering/construction/customer service/hire industry
- Love to learn and expand their knowledge
- Are willing to embark on apprenticeship qualification
- Are ambitious and driven
You must hold at least GCSE or equivalent Maths and English Grade 2/Grade E/Level 1 or above in order to be considered for this role. It would be desirable for you to hold GCSE or equivalent Maths and English Grade 4/Grade C/Level 2 or above.
