We are currently seeking a Hire Controller to join our team in Tamworth. This role is a key part of our depot operations, acting as the front line of customer service and sales support. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the complete hire process – from initial enquiry to final collection – ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams
Manage the full hire cycle, including order processing, scheduling deliveries and collections
Liaise with stock teams, drivers, engineers, and other departments to ensure timely fulfilment
Ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction through excellent communication and organisation
Operate in a desk-based environment with frequent cross-functional coordination
What We’re Looking For:
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
Strong verbal and written communication abilities
Flexibility and a proactive approach to problem-solving
A genuine commitment to personal and professional development
A full UK driving licence
Previous experience in the hire industry or a similar operational or sales environment is desirable
